5 Mini Chain - Fun Item! 1/2 Pole Mini Chain (8-1/2 feet long). 22 brass links with brass handles, 4-1/2 inches long folded. Great display or gift item. Show off our survey history! "Chainie Baby" $55.00
10 Survey Chain - Wing Chain, 40 Links (33 feet long). This chain is made of solid steel and has metal handles. It is dated about 1664. There are only eight examples known to exist. Available in April, 1998. $225.00
11 Drop Arrow - Steel chaining pin with lead plumb bob cast around pin. This pin was made by K&E Survey Equipment Company in the late 1800's. The pin is 9-gauge steel, 14 inches long. This is the item that the collectors cannot find. The arrow was held at the end of the chain handle and dropped in place of a plumb bob. $25 each
12 Survey Chain - Pennsylvania Chain, 40 Links (33 feet long). Original made by Benjamin Rittenhouse in brass. Tallies at 1/4 and 1/2 points. This is the chain of Colonial America.
